Ankle Piercings

There are a variety of reasons for why one would opt to wear jewellery on one’s ankles. Ankle piercing, unlike many other kinds of piercing, regularly comes in contact with the clothes. The skin takes a couple of weeks to become habitual to the stress that wearing jewellery causes, therefore, ankle piercing requires special care, at least, for the first few weeks after the piercing.

Subdermal Anklet

This only lasted about 6 months. The subdermals worked themselves out mostly, only needing minimal assistance. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted. I only did 3/4 around the ankle. That seriously reduced the amount of snagging and accidental bumping.
