Bridge Piercings

Bridge piercing is a unique type of facial piercing which is done on the skin of the nose-bridge. It is also called the Earl or Erl piercing as the first person to get it done was the Erl van Aken. Ideally the piercing is done horizontally through the flesh between the two eyes. A vertically bridge piercing is also done and that is a surface piercing and has high risks of rejection and the face gets scarred when the jewelry is removed from the piercing. This is a contemporary body piercing style and could enhance the beauty of a person. The best way to do the bridge piercing is by using the straight barbells. Sometimes the surface bars and the curved barbells are also used for bridge piercing. After the healing of the piercing is done, any other kind of jewelry could be used also. The rings should only be used when the piercing is healed properly otherwise it may cause problem. One cannot use the glasses when bridge piercing is done as it will cause friction in the area and will create problem. Only an experience piercing professional could mark the place properly and do the bridge piercing in a healthier way.
