It was Jim Ward’s magazine Piercing Fans International Quality which published from 1977 – 1997, which made wrist piercings a fashion on the North American continent. Wrist piercings have to be done in two steps else there is a high rate of rejection. Jewelery of Teflon and titanium is preferred in this kind of piercings.
