its done by either using a dermal punch, which to the best of my knowledge is illegal unless performed by a doctor, or a needle. the piercer pierces the skin in your chosen location and creates a small pocket or hole under your skin and inserts the boot of the jewelry (all titanium, if its not you shouldn’t bother getting it…its cheap) under your skin and the gem part sticks out on top of your skin. this is a semi-permanent piercing. only consider it if you don’t plan on having it removed soon or at all.

if you must know how this is done, ther are several methors of doing it some cut a hole and insert the anchor in, the best method i know about is using a needle blade, making one hole doing down, then one hole going up then inserting the anchor, im currently looking at getting 6 done on my neck, got 2 one already got another 4 left.
